Nottingham University Emergency Medicine Society (NEMS)
Nottingham University Emergency Medicine Society (NEMS) is a student led society at The University of Nottingham Medical School, for those interested in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care & Pre-Hospital Emergency Care.

NEMS has the privilege of hosting talks from external speakers on a range of topics in this hugely diverse and exciting area of medicine. Previous speakers have been from organisations such as Lincs & Notts Air Ambulances and Army Doctors who served on Operation Herrick.
Together with informing students about a career in Emergency Medicine, we also aim to familiarise our future medical professionals with the protocol used in acute medical scenarios which have important utility in and out of the hospital setting.
For example, we are hosting a teaching series covering the knowledge and practical skills required in the immediate assessment and management of acute presentations, aimed at our clinical medical students.

Sessions are largely free to attend, we only ask that you purchase a membership to support us should you wish to.

For more information, please message us on Facebook or instagram, or email us at emergency-medicine@uonsu.com.

We hope you can join us at our events planned for this year!
