FriendsofMSF is a student-led group of like-minded individuals who are in support of Doctors Without Borders/ MSF / Médecins Sans Frontières.
MSF is an international humanitarian medical aid organisation, providing healthcare and provisions surrounding healthcare to people in over 70 countries worldwide. This may be in situations of war, refugee camps, natural disaster, famine, government instability and more.
If you also believe that healthcare is a human right and should be offered free to those that need it… join our society and get involved in:
1. Fundraising for MSF.
2. Raising awareness about current humanitarian crises.
3. Learning about how to get involved in humanitarin work in the future.
4. Meeting like-minded students and joining a great new community!
Previous events we have run include:
Football tournament/raffles/bingo nights/board games nights and lots of bake sales! We also have MSF speakers come to talk frequently.
P.S This society is not just for medical/healthcare students- it is for anyone interested in humanitarian work.
