NUMNC offers the chance to play netball both for fun and competitively across a range of abilities, ages and healthcare courses.
We have 2 NAMS teams playing against medics teams from other unis, weekly monday league matches plus our social team playing in the IMS league on campus every weekend. We also engage in tournaments for charity and for fun with other Medical Schools across the country.
We welcome players of all abilities, from complete beginners to those wanting to play competitively. We also welcome students from all healthcare related courses including Nursing, Physio, Pharmacy, Midwifery and many more!
We aim to train once a week for 2 hours, but we completely understand that timetables for healthcare students can be chaotic so if you can’t make it every week please don’t worry!
We believe it is important to stay social as healthcare can feel all-consuming at times and thus we host a range of socials and events throughout the academic year ranging from collaborations with other societies to dinners with previous members!
